
Brandon Duncan enters
his second season as assistant coach at Georgia Tech. He will work with the
pitchers and catchers at Tech, along with assisting with recruiting. Duncan
helped lead Tech to one of the most successful seasons in program history.
The Yellow Jackets won 51 games and claimed Atlantic Coast Conference
regular season and tournament championships in 2005. Duncan guided the
Yellow Jacket pitching staff to the top of the ACC conference in earned run
average (1.49) and second in strikeouts per game (7.79). The Jackets
finished 16th in the nation in ERA. Senior Jessica Sallinger earned her
third NFCA All-America honor under his tutelage and bettered her school
records in strikeouts (373) and shutouts (16). Sallinger was named ACC
Pitcher of the Year and first team All-ACC for the third consecutive season
in '05. She also earned All-Southeast Region first team honors for the third
time in her career and broke the ACC records in career K's (1,398) and wins
